Here is a copy of a photo of Jamie in Monday’s edition of the London Free Press. He is pictured with our (on the left) London Chief of Police Murray Faulkner and Superintendent Bill Merrylees. This photo was taken at the Firerock Golf Course situated outside London. The event was the annual London Police Service Golf Charity Classic. This year’s beneficiary is the 2010 Special Olympics Summer Games to be held in London in July 2010. At the banquet, the London Police Service presented a cheque in the amount of $100,000 to Special Olympics. Jamie gave a speech to a crowd of about 350 people. Jamie’s topic was about winning a silver medal in the sport of floor hockey for Canada this past February at the World SO Winter Games held in Boise, Idaho.
